                     CHAPTER 3: Summer Love

        Tomorrow is the first day of summer and we planned to skate before summer starts. Clara invited us to go to the new ice skating rink in town. Kate, Lea and I agreed. I walked to Kate's house, and her father drove us to the ice skating rink. We went to McDonalds to have breakfast and after that we went to the ice skating rink. This is the first time for Lea to skate so I have to teach her how to skate well. It was really fun and suddenly a guy named Damien approached and greeted me.

       He have a pair of bright blue eyes and curly dark brown hair. He was wearing a grey sweater and a pair of skinny jeans. He asked me if we can go out during tea time which is 1 hour from now. I said yes. Why not? I asked my friends if I can go with Damien for tea time and they were okay with it. So 1 hour has passed and now I'm heading to Starbucks since he promised me that he will wait there. At Starbucks, he was there drinking his caramel frappuccino and ordering me a cotton candy frappuccino, my favourite. Wait, how does he know that is my favourite? Random maybe.

       We talked and talked and suddenly we became friends. We have so many things in common. We both love doughnuts, sushi, The Beatles, and also we both love snakes. We live at the same street too. I wonder why I've never seen him before. He said he is going to move to Ohio by the end of summer. We've been talking for 1 hour so we finished our drinks and we left Starbucks, seperately. I went shopping with my girls after that and I don't know where he went to.

       So Kate, Lea, Clara and I is just chilling in a coffee shop and we're pretty much talking about summer. And suddenly Clara changed the subject to summer love. Summer love is temporary love. Being in love only during summer and at the end of summer you can't contact your partner or anything. It's actually quite interesting but it's gonna be sad after summer. Clara dared Lea, Kate and me to have summer love. Challenge accepted.

       Before I forgot, yes, I am contacting with Damien of course. It's already 8:00 at night, I am wearing my yellow pyjamas and my turquoise monkey slippers. I lay on my bed and text with Damien. He is very kind. Tomorrow is summer and I have to ask him out. But then suddenly, he asked me if we could try summer love. I screamed and said yes. It's like a miracle. As if he can read minds. He knows I am craving for cotton candy frappuccino. He knows about summer love. What if he can read minds?

       Today is summer and its the first day of our love. He texted me a sweet good morning message. I woke up and get ready to go have breakfast with him and then we can go to the library. He was wearing a turquoise baseball shirt with a grey skinny jeans. We went to Square One and then went to the library. It was really awkward with him but oh well I'll get used to this. Will I truly love him? Or this is just for the stupid dare?

                CHAPTER 2: Am I a Girl Now?  


  'Ding dong!' The bell rang. I hopped out of my bed and ran downstairs to answer the door. The 'amazon' van is right in front of my house and a guy was holding a packaging was at my door. I took the packaging and signed the papers. So the guy went back to his van and I ran to my bedroom and locked the door. I ripped the packaging, since I was very excited, and luckily, I got the right book. I have to admit that I bought some books about girls and some other girly things.

    Again. The bell rang. I ran towards the stairs and my cat, Pepper, also ran to the door. Oh. I just realised its probably Aunt Lily because my cat, okay this might sound weird but, Pepper, can smell Aunt Lily. And Pepper hates me. So I ran downstairs and it is Aunt Lily, she was wearing a baby blue silk dress with a very nice white hat. She kissed Pepper for several times and I can see Pepper's happy face following Aunt Lily stepping into our house. Aunt Lily hugged me and kissed me. My mom came from behind and hugged Aunt Lily. Its been 2 months since Aunt Lily's last visit. She came all the way from London to California.
   
     So I served some tea and cakes for my mom and Aunt Lily. Also myself. We talked and talked about Aunt Lily's new clothing line. She is a fashion designer and she always give me dresses and sweaters. She always give me advice about girls and she is very concerned about me being a tomboy and I guess it's gonna be a shock if I tell her that I'm changing.  She will probably get too excited and dress me up and stuff. Wow. I better get mentally ready.

    I helped her unpack some stuff in the guest room. And I am very nervous to tell her that I'm changing. But oh well, I did. Her face was priceless. She was so shocked, she cried, but then she started unpacking some dresses while giving me some advice on being a girl. Oh, Aunt Lily. We had a long talk about it and I also tell her about the stupid dramatic fight.

  I am so excited to go to school tomorrow and see so many shocked faces at the school hall because I am turning to a 'real' girl and not a tomboy. I was so excited, I prepared an outfit for tomorrow which is a turquoise sweater and a pair of white jean shorts. I am pairing it up with a pair of pink converse shoes.

  Today is the day. It was drizzling and very cold. Luckily, I prepared a sweater to go to school. I waited for the bus outside eventhough it was raining but I was so excited so why not. The bus arrived after 5 minutes of waiting and I sat beside Lea and she was shocked to see me wearing a girlish outfit. She screamed and the whole bus looked at us, which some of them saw me and screamed too. What a chaos Tuesday morning.

  I walked at the school hall and people is literally staring at me with their jaw dropped. It was so awkward so we went to the cafeteria and joined Kate who is drinking the free morning hot chocolate, alone. Kate almost choked on her hot chocolate when she saw me. She asked me so many questions and I answered it with only three words. I don't know. But oh, how I hope the stupid drama will end today.

   After a few seconds, Clara walked into the cafeteria and she decided to turn around when she saw me but she stopped and ran to me. She was screaming and hugging me. She said she was sorry and she was so proud of me for changing. I told you she will love it. And then we talked and talked at the cafeteria and the school bell rang, which means we have to go to our classes.

                      CHAPTER 1: Chasing Dreams....


       Funny and sometimes weird because people keep judging me all the time because I am a major tomboy. I never wore make up and I love to wear guy's clothes. Okay, I'm not really a tomboy. I can be girlish at times and I have girls as friends and sometimes I follow what they do. But not all of the time, sometimes I'm just not in the mood to be girlish. Sometimes I can act like a real guy. Sometimes, I can be grumpy and cranky, so beware.

     The end of spring wind started to blew and I have to get ready for school. Worst and the lamest thing ever. I wore my blue jeans, my red long sleeve t-shirt and my blue converse shoes. I combed my hair and get some breakfast and off to school. I've been schooling here for like 5 years and its kinda great but at the same time kinda messed up. Oh yeah, its Frampton Wills High School. Here are the gangs in it, the gay and lesbians, Lamar, Karen, Jones, and Nana. The blonde brats, Michelle, Quinn, Ramona. And my gang, the normals, Clara, Lea, Kate and Laura (me).

     Ok so here's a little intro about my friends. Clara is the gossip girl, drama queen, sassy, and the girlish. She is sometimes a brat and so annoying but oh well. Lea is the innocent, kind, nerd and everybody loves her. Me too. Kate is the funny one and the adorable kid in our gang. And me, the boyish one. Basically, they will convince me to become a real girl since 3 years ago..but I didn't. Yeah, we have been friends for like 4 years.

     Clara and Lea asked me to wait at the cafeteria and get the free morning hot chocolates while we wait for Kate to arrive. And we basically talked about boys which sometimes annoys me. Lea is always talking about her new boyfriend, Sebastian, and we just have to hear every single thing because later on she will ask us. Clara, talks about her crush, Alex, which is kinda nice and romantic. They're cute together, to be honest! After the girly chit-chat session (Kate arrived but we still talk, but not me, they just can't stop talking, I swear.) we have to go to English class and then Mathematics.

     During English class, we have to do a project, which, we have to partner up and pick a random country and tell the whole class about it. The most creative presentation will be the winner and as the prize, they will get to pick where they sit in the class for the whole semester. Which is very meaningful for me since I am sitting beside a guy who is really disgusting and I don't wanna put his name here. But, the teacher will pick our partner, so I hope I get one of my gangs. But...

    Guess who? My partner is...Alex. Its...Alex. Clara is gonna explode if she knows but I have to tell her because she will be asking. And I did tell her and my guess is right. She exploded, guys. EXPLODED. She was so so so jealous. And I said that its not my choice, its the teacher's. But she ignored. During Mathematics, she ignored too. I just don't get this girl. Ugh.

     I can't believe it but, 3 days, and we still are not talking. She is being so dramatic. And when this finishes, I bet she's gonna realise that she is stupid for ignoring me. I hope. But, I really want it to end now. Because you know, I hate dramas, and I don't want to be in it. So, let's think of what she wants me to be or what she will love to see me as...so that we could stop fighting. Hmmm..........aha! She really want me to be like a real girl and not a tomboy. So should I change, just for her? Just for this stupid drama to end? Or...maybe I will regret it?

The wings who was left alone.

       Most of the time in my life is spent on nature, in the mornings and keeping a dark secret, at night. You might think I am a werewolf or something but no, this is not Twilight. I am just a normal person though. I wake up, go to the forest to find some berries, and cook. Yeah, I am a loner. Sigh. And yes, I prefer to be alone all of the time and I hate public. That is kinda usual for a....special creature...like me?

       Oh yeah, before I forgot, like the normal story introductions, my name is Gwen Sky. I am 18 years old. I live in the woods in a small cottage and I go to the woods almost every day. Sometimes, I really want to tell my secrets to someone. You might think its just stupid to tell it to someone. But it's kinda inevitable because you know sometimes we just have to share our feelings to someone. Our secrets too. That's why best friends are created right?

       One day, I need to go to the market because I'm out of food. So I did, I put on my cloak and just walk to the nearest market. Arrived at the market, the villagers started to look at me and most of them, judged me. Ughh. Ok, here's why. The villagers knew me from my parents. My parents also have a dark secret and they accidentally killed a villager. When I was 16, my parents brought me to live in the woods alone.

      So I just act like the villagers are invisible although they were throwing apples and tomatoes to me. Free food I guess. But then, there's this one boy just sit there and look at me and just pity me. Questions started to haunt me....Why isn't he following other kids throwing foods at me? Is he keeping a secret too? What is his secret? Is it same as mine? He can grow wings at night too? While I was daydreaming, 'BAM!' an apple in my face.

      I ran to my cottage after that and went to the woods to find some firewood to cook. Suddenly, I found a boy, I think I recognise him, is it the...oh. It is the boy from the market. I sat next to him. His name is Josh. I asked him all of those questions in my head. Shockingly, he answered all of it very calmly. Its probably destiny that brought us here with the same problems. Suddenly, we both grew wings and we flew together.

     But.......I wonder why is he at the market without anyone noticing? He said he have a power where he can be invisible. Cool huh? So, I let him stay with me and no one noticed, of course. My life have been better and better since. It was an unbelievable experience to meet someone who have identical powers as me. Of course, we fell in love after that. I hope this is a better love story than Twilight.

A thousands of excuses.

      Roses started to bloom, grasses started to grew, the new spring breeze was felt from the 23rd floor of Royal Blossom apartment. It's the 3rd May. Tomorrow is a child's birthday. Rosie Williams woke up early in the morning and had a cup of coffee with some toast. After showering, she wore a blue blouse matched with a long emerald green skirt. She finished her coffee and toast and went out to the streets. Shopping mall is the place she is aiming to go for now. She went to the toys section and wander around searching for a perfect toy for her niece. While searching, Rosie saw a girl with pigtails, who is wearing a bright red dress and pink shoes. The cute little girl, sat in a corner, crying. She was crying, crying and crying.

      Overwhelmed with the girl's tears, Rosie ran to the girl and persuaded her. She told Rosie she lost her father just now while she was searching for a toy. Her name is Katie Greasely and her father's name is Henry Greasely. She also told Rosie her father's contact number. Rosie took her to pick a toy so Rosie can buy it for her, before calling her father. So Katie picked a toy, and they go to the operating counter nearby. While waiting in line, suddenly, a 40 year old man was standing right in front of them, with his angry face, staring at Rosie.

      "Daddy! Daddy!" cried Katie. Of course that was her dad Henry Greasely who is assuming his child was kidnapped by a 38 year old Rosie Williams. Henry grabbed Katie's arm and shouted at Rosie "Don't you dare touch my little princess!" Katie almost cried, not knowing how to explain it to her fierce father. So they walk away. Since everyone in the line, or maybe in the whole mall saw Rosie, she bowed with shame. After buying her niece a toy, she ran to her apartment with tears running all over her cheeks. It was a very sad, embarrassing, and also an unforgettable moment.

      3 days have passed, 72 hours have flew away, but Rosie was still thinking of explaining it to Henry Greasely. Rosie is scared if Henry just can't accept the fact that she didn't kidnapped Katie. Rosie is scared if Henry just doesn't want to accept her apology. Rosie emboldened herself to explain about the incident 3 days ago. She called Henry and luckily Henry agreed to meet her up in a cafe. Thank god.

    Nervous is obviously the right word to describe Rosie's feeling now. She waited in a cafe, wearing her pink coat and her black ankle boots. Finally, a guy she's been waiting for shows up, with a sulky face. Rosie tell him what really happened and they discussed. But it's really hard to make Henry believe it until it makes him call Katie at home and ask if it's true. Luckily, Katie answered it right. Rosie is probably the happiest woman in the cafe. So they started knowing each other and and talked for hours in the cafe. Then something unexpected happened. They're madly in love.

    "You may kiss your bride." Okay, obviously that sentence was pronounced about 2 years ago. They're married, but they aren't really living a happy life. That is because, Henry Greasely is a soldier which makes him as a 'weekend husband' because he have to stay in the military camp. He have to make a thousands of excuse to make it out of the camp for a day just so that he can meet his true love and his little princess. Rosie advised him to quit the army so that they can see each other everyday. Why? "It's a boy!" Yes. That's why. They were gifted a baby boy. A prince.

Wild Regret.

           Houses were on fire. Trees started to fall. The chaos of my village has begun. Just kidding. It's normal. It's just a bunch of villagers testing their superpowers and doing some chores. Yes. I lived in Bosconovitch Village. Everyone basically owns a very impressive superpower except me. I'm an ordinary child in this village. I have no superpowers or even a smart brain. I'm basically the useless and the stupid boy in the village. My mom always said that I have to find the superpower in me. But all of the villagers said that I'm just useless.

         My name is Wildbie. Wildbie Welchmary. I have two younger sisters. Wenda and Wendy Welchmary. They can fly and they're super fast. Cathrine Welchmary is my mom. She can sing a song that will make all the villagers sleep. The villagers called it sleep powder. I live in a cottage near the Death Falls. The Death Falls is a waterfall that no one ever tried to even touch it. If you touch it you'll die. Literally. So, don't even think of touching it.

        One day, my mom and I went to the library and found something really interesting. It is a book call 'Legend of Power Genie'. It tells you how to immediately get your superpowers. I was so excited to look at the directions but my mom advised me not to even look at it. She said it's dangerous. But she didn't tell me why. I was so mad, I slammed the book on the shelf and leave my mom feeling confused and at the same time feeling sad. I didn't talk to my mom for 3 weeks. I really wanted to try the directions in the book. But I have to pay for the consequence myself.

     So, off I go to the library. I searched and searched for that book and found it. I read the directions and I stood there. Terrified. No wonder mom was so scared. I regret being mad at mom. I regret not talking to her for 3 weeks. She is sad. I am really a bad son. That evening, Wenda and Wendy were showing off their flying skills to me. They said I'm such a loser for not having superpowers. For the first time, I was jealous. I ran to my bedroom and cried. I planned to go to the library and borrow that book tomorrow morning. So that fine morning, with the new spring breeze, I went to the library, borrow that book and sit on my favourite rock near the Death Falls, and read it.

Here's basically what I read:

• Go to the Death Falls
• Dive in and search for a magical glass
• Take the glass to the river bank and pour some water from the Death Falls into the magical glass
• Drink it and your power will be revealed right away

Note: Only do this when you're ready. Never ever try to do it right away after reading this. You have to be ready, then only the Death Falls will let you dive.

     Right after reading it, I stand at the river bank, in the position to dive. When I try to jump in, I was pushed to the ground and there's a loud splash. I fainted. When I woke up, my sisters told me something really sad. My mom pushed me to the ground and fell in the Death Falls...and......died. She saved my life. She sacrificed herself for me. But what did I do to her? Nothing. I regret. I regret for not listening to her. I regret for being impatient on getting my superpower. I...regret.
